Born and raised in Mississippi, I found my passion for the world around me through the people and places I have visited. I have found my authentic self as a photographer through learning to trust the direction of my subconscious and unplanned choices. It is freeing to see thousands of possibilities when capturing a scene and knowing every photographer’s perspective is unique. I love to picture the perspectives and viewpoints of others and my camera is my own controllable perspective that teaches me about my own perception. I compose each shot with intention to create a specific moment rather than letting my equipment fabricate a coincidental result. Because of photography‘s effect on my life, I will continue shooting no matter the circumstances as a self-explorative journey into my own existentialism.
